CLASS Advising

Check out the advising services available to a student within the Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS).

Our professional advisers will help you meet your academic goals to prepare you for a career you'll love.

CLASS Advising

At the Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS), we advise students who:
  • Are undecided / exploratory
  • Haven't yet been accepted into the major / college of their choice
  • Are in a pre-professional program that does not directly admit students
We have professional advisers (not GAs) who will work with you one-on-one. Our advisers are  here to help you meet your academic goals and find what you need.

Advising Appointments

Our advisers will establish a plan to help you matriculate into your chosen major as quickly as possible. We'll also help you build a "parallel plan" that works best with your desired major so you have academic options. You should meet with your assigned adviser at least once each term to have your advising hold lifted and to talk through your course schedules.

Once you declare a major and meet the admission requirements, you are eligible to be sent to your college/school. Interested in learning if you've met your requirements? You can find this information on DegreeWorks.
