Pharmacy, Occupational Therapy and Medical Laboratory Sciences Students
Students who plan to pursue degrees in pharmacy, occupational therapy or medical laboratory sciences begin their first two years at WVU in the Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS) within Undergraduate Educations. These programs do not directly admit students.
Students who wish to pursue pharmacy as a major are not directly admitted to the pharmacy program as incoming freshmen. Instead, pharmacy majors are accepted into CLASS and begin their first two years of study at WVU as CLASS students.
You'll work with an adviser at CLASS who partners closely with program coordinators within the pharmacy program.
You will need to apply to the pharmacy program by January 5 of the year you wish to start pharmacy school. You'll apply through PharmCAS. For your application, you will need test scores, letters of recommendation, completion of prerequisites and to complete an interview.
