When you applied to WVU, you might have selected a major on your application. However, if you didn't meet direct admission requirements for that particular major, you'll begin your academic career at Center for Learning, Advising and Student Success (CLASS).
Once you fulfill the requirements for your major of choice, you'll move into your program's school or college.
Major PathwaysDepending on your admitted major, you will be placed into one of eight academic pathways. The pathways are designed to group similar majors that share common career interests. CLASS advisers specialize in particular pathways and have in-depth knowledge of those majors within the pathway. Each pathway has many majors, but some common ones are listed below each pathway.
